Cleanliness Issues and Security Deposit Concerns

The main pros of this property are the proximity to the medical center, convenient parking, and furniture in good condition. When I arrived, the microwave was broken, but it was fixed promptly after I contacted Karla. However, the apartment appeared poorly cleaned. There was blonde hair on the bedroom carpet (I have dark hair, so it wasn't mine) and dust and debris on the floors. The floors were so dirty that the bottoms of my feet turned black when walking barefoot. There were also no cleaning supplies available. Karla said she would send a cleaning team, but I never noticed any improvement. The biggest issue was the security deposit. My lease ended in January, and I only heard about it in mid-March after following up twice. The lease states the $200 deposit is for damages or lease defaults, yet I was told it was for “post-stay servicing.” She later requested an $85 cleaning fee not listed in the lease. I paid it just to resolve the situation. I would NOT RECOMMEND this property.
