This is a large two room studio. One room is an eat-in kitchen with parquet wood floors, fully stocked kitchen and a bathroom. The other room is an L shaped living/sleeping/working space. There is a nook for the queen bed and a living room with lots of sunlight, shelves full of books and a comfy sitting area. A gorgeous wooden desk at the window w/high speed internet and a w/d just outside your back door (inside the basement)...

Quiet neighborhood close to downtown Ballard and public transportation. Great parks and beautiful Golden Gardens where you can see a view of the Olympic Mountains and walk the beach along beautiful Puget Sound. Coffee shops, grocery and some sweet neighborhood bars within walking distance. This is a quiet neighborhood with plenty of street parking and a friendly vibe.

Amazing 8-Month Stay!
I had the pleasure of renting Annes home for eight months, and it was fantastic from start to finish! The space has everything you could want: private entrance, comfortable bed, bright living room, great desk for working from home, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, and even a storage areaperfect for my ski and snowboard gear. I planned to stay six months but loved it so much I extended through summer. The location is ideal: close to Golden Gardens, an easy walk or bike ride to Downtown Ballard, and surrounded by neighborhood gemscoffee shops, a pizza spot, Italian restaurant, green grocer, cocktail bar, wine shop, and Sunset Park with stunning views of the Olympics. Commuting was easy too, with the 17 express just a 5 min walk away and the 40 about 10. Anne is wonderfulalways available if you need her but respectful of your privacy. Ill miss this home and neighborhood dearly. Couldnt recommend it more!
