Comfortable stay in a great area and will return if given a chance

We were looking for a place to experience mountain life, and this house, Tiger Den, delivered. We were very comfortable with plenty of space for us to live and work. We spent the month of December here and were very satisfied with the clean and neat accommodations. The interior was very creatively built with an imaginative repurposing of materials. The beds were great, and the area was quiet, peaceful, and private. We slept well. The kitchen and bathrooms were very convenient and well-stocked. They contained everything you would need. The area is part of a community of very friendly people and community services nearby. Southern hospitality was definitely a plus. Marilyn, the property manager, went above and beyond in welcoming us and making sure we had what we needed, keeping us informed about many local areas, activities and weather. She was very accessible and always responsive. We appreciated the personal touch and the avoidance of extra fees, which are found on other platforms. Information was also in a booklet there, including lots of good restaurant recommendations as well as other information about the house and area. Marilyn scheduled the internet men to come by to make sure we were properly connected. They were real southern gentlemen and even helped us get our printer connected. We were very impressed with their service. Glorious sunrises looking out on the Blue Ridge Mountains greeted us every morning with wonderful views from the main level and the upstairs expansive windows as well as outside on both the lower and upper wrap-around decks. The decks were also great places to view the stars, constellations, and moon at night. The mountain sides had wonderful masses of rhododendron groves, with numerous waterfalls and nature trails in the area. Our stay was very comfortable and memorable, and we heartily recommend Tiger Den!
