Best Roommate Ever!
Matt is such a great roommate and an absolutely amazing person! Him and Tater (his adorable cat) welcomed Luna (my crazy dog) and I with open arms and treated us incredibly well our entire stay. Matt is so easy to get along with. You will not regret your decision to stay here. Honestly wish I could have stayed longer.
Great place
I had an excellent experience renting this space while working as a travel nurse at MMC! The location was perfect - just a short drive to the hospital and close to plenty of food and activities. The house itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I had everything I needed and more. The room was generously sized, well-furnished, and provided ample storage for my belongings. The shared areas, including the kitchen and living room, were equally well-maintained and perfect for relaxation. Although I worked the night shift, I never had any issues with being able to sleep. What made my experience stand out was the warm hospitality. Matt was friendly and welcoming, and his adorable cat became a lovely bonus companion. I highly recommend this rental to fellow travel nurses or anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and friendly place to stay.
Great location and price!
I had a wonderful experience renting this charming room from March 2022 to July 2023. The property was beautifully maintained and offered a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The location was ideal, providing easy access to all of downtown Portland including Maine Med. Matt, was incredibly friendly and responsive to any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.
This stay will probably be the best roommate situation you could ask for!
I initially booked my stay with Matt for 3 months, but instead of finding a different private unit with no roommates at the end of those 3 months, I ended up staying here for a whole year. Matt is extremely kind and makes you feel like the space is yours. I never felt uncomfortable being the same areas with him, especially with being a female. He does really well with gauging whether or not you want to be left alone/more privacy or if you want his company. The place has 1 full bathroom and 1 half bathroom. At no point during the whole year did I ever feel like we needed 2 full bathrooms. You are free to use anything you want in the kitchen, even if he is in there cooking as well. He always keeps the place clean. There was never a run-in with having to use the laundry at the same time. The area is super safe - there is a police station walking distance (even though it's safe enough there to not really need it). Matt loves animals - I had a cat and dog with me. He loves them so much that he even has an area set up at the front window so that your pets can watch the neighborhood dogs walking by. In the winter, he shovels/snowplows the driveway so that you are able to leave conveniently. If you've gotten this far with my review and are still not convinced of the 5 star rating, then I'm not sure what else to tell you.
