Great Long-Term Stay — Felt Like Home

I stayed at the Sunny & Serene House from March – July 2025 and had a great experience. The ADU itself and the furniture are high quality, very comfortable, and exactly as listed — ideal for a longer stay. The two-bed, two-bath layout worked really well, and the in-unit washer/dryer was a huge plus. The gated, guaranteed parking spot was such a relief — no worrying about finding parking. The location is convenient to downtown and the Arts District, with great local food nearby. The hosts were fantastic — responsive, kind, and easy to communicate with throughout my stay. I truly felt at home here and would absolutely recommend this property. I’d stay here again without hesitation.

The layout was perfect for our needs, with ample space for both relaxation and entertaining. The two bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. We especially appreciated the small welcome treats. The living room and kitchen were a highlight. They were fully equipped with everything we needed, making it a pleasure to spend time there. The on-site washer and dryer were a great touch. The location was also a major plus. It was conveniently located near shops and local restaurants. Mars and her husband were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. They answered any questions we had promptly and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, we had an exceptional experience at this rental property. It exceeded our expectations in every way. We recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay. We would definitely book again!

Stunning, Cozy, and Perfect!

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Mars Casita! Mars and her husband were communicative, prompt, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Upon arrival, we found a super cute welcome basket with goodies. The house was incredibly clean, comfortable, and well put together with quality furnishings and a sense of coziness for our small family. The location was perfect for us as the house is near every freeway, a short drive to downtown, Pasadena, and any possible kind of restaurant you can think of! The house has everything a small family could need from a full fridge to washer and dryer, everything is perfect. The house comes with a parking spot that is convenient and secured. We would stay here again and again as we felt the warmth of the hosts (who also brought us avocados and guacamole from their yard!! prior to us departing), while offering a fantastic space for our family.
