After we sold our house, we were looking for a fully furnished place with a shorter lease to rent while looking for our next home. The Carriage house was perfect for us! In addition, it was awesome seeing so much wild life daily. It was great living in the city but having all the privacy of the country.

My second home!

I stayed here while working as a traveling nurse in Duluth, and I still miss this place! It truly felt like a peaceful treehouse retreat tucked away in the woodscozy, quiet, and full of character. The furnishings are beautifully chosen: comfortable without being cluttered, and the artsy touches throughout the space (on the walls and floors) gave it such a creative, welcoming vibe. Kathy was absolutely wonderfulso kind and accommodating. She let me move in a bit earlier than scheduled and even went out of her way to drive me to work and the grocery store during my first few days so I could get oriented. I arrived to a lovely welcome basket and even a plant, which made it feel like home right away. If I ever get the chance to come back to Duluth, Id love to stay here again. Its such a special place!

Let me start by saying Ms Kathy is an amazing person, very warm, funny, vibrant, and operates with humility & integrity. She made sure the process for applying & moving in were simple & seamless, from the moment we got there she went above and beyond to accommodate us, and never failed to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The property is gorgeous on the inside & really felt like home, all the personalized touches show the level of care & attention to detail given to make this space feel cozy. Its in a nice neighborhood close enough to everything you would need but secluded enough for peace & privacy. The wildlife is beautiful & you get an up close & personal view.
