Close to major interstates, yet, quiet and walkable. 10 minutes to downtown. Far Southwest is a small suburban neighborhood in southwest Portland. Adjacent to the city of Tigard to the west and Lake Oswego to the east, its also right in the middle between Portland, Beaverton, Wilsonville and Lake Oswego. You would be hard-pressed to find a better location if Portland area accessibility is important to you.
Wonderful!
Two of us spent a month here working remotely. This is one of the best places we've ever stayed. The decor is beautiful and large windows make it feel like a tree house with an incredible view of Mount Hood. The apartment had absolutely everything, it's incredibly well-stocked! Ed and Kim are phenomenal hosts and kind people with lots of recommendations for activities to do in the area. We are late to posting our review, but years later still can't stop thinking of how incredible our stay was.
Absolutely amazing
The view is stunning and the apartment is very well maintained. Very close to downtown and the area is very quiet. Our hosts were so helpful in letting us know activities and restaurants in the area. We loved staying here.
Such a great place!
I spent three months here, and really enjoyed it. The stand-alone apartment is appointed with everything you need, and there's lots of storage. The high ceilings and killer view, washer/dryer all make it wonderful. It's in a quiet neighborhood, good for walking, and Ed and Kim are such nice hosts.
Home Away From Home
My boyfriend and I have stayed here twice (the first time for 3 months) over the last few years and it has come to feel like a home away from home. Ed and Kim are such nice people and the space is so lovely and cozy (and includes a heated bathroom and AC, which many properties in Portland dont). The neighborhood is quiet, upscale and a short distance from other areas of Portland, including the very quaint Multnomah Village, which is only minutes away. The property also has a beautiful view of Mt Hood. We highly recommend to everyone!

Best place to stay ever! Contemporary apartment, beautifully equipped and furnished. Ample kitchen, excellent storage. A beautiful view of Mt. Hood. The area is well located with grocery stores and restaurants close by. We stay here whenever we are in Portland. It is our home away from home.
BEST STAY!
Wow! Was my husband and Is first thought when we arrived to the property. Hands down the best stay we have had yet. This 1 bed/bath was fully equipped with everything we needed. I would definitely say this is more along the lines of luxury compared to most places. The high ceilings, washer and dryer conveniently located in the bathroom, a heating option for the bathroom , top of the line appliances, fancy expresso maker and the beautiful views from the large windows, all made our stay beyond comfortable and convenient.new seasons for grocery shopping is no more than 10 minutes away , as well as downtown lake Oswego and mini hiking trails. If we ever needed any recommendations of places to sight see or to have dinner, all we had to do was ask! We definitely plan to stay again and 10/10 recommend!
