Wonderful home
We stayed for 3 months in this beautifully appointed home with our black lab, it was perfect. Brad and Becky and their adult kids take care of everything and anything that may come up. The kitchen is great, the decor fun and stylish, and the neighborhood cant be beat. I highly recommend this house for a lengthy stay.
We stayed at Becky and Brads apartment for about a month in November / December, and it worked out great for us. The apartment itself was nicely furnished and had everything we needed for cooking (including a grill on the back deck), working remotely, relaxing, and hosting a gathering with family. The garage space proved to be quite clutch for the two rare November winter storms that we encountered! Location is easy walking distance to a choice of grocery stores, bars, restaurants, and the L. No regrets, and would recommend to anyone looking to experience the city!
Extremely Comfy & Large Apartment in Old Town!
My wife and teenage daughter stayed at Brad&Becky's place for almost a month and a half - and we had a great time. Perfect location for getting around everywhere in Chicago - quick walk to the train, short walk to groceries, various restaurants and pubs easily accessible. Teenager loved the bottom floor - it was almost her own pad. Kitchen was great and had everything we needed and easy to cook when we didn't go out for dinner! The landlord crew was extremely quick to respond to any questions - we had an issue with a bright light from next door in one of the bedrooms, so they quickly installed blackout shades. And we had everything we needed from iron/ironing board to hot water tea kettle - and Keurig! Loved using the back porch as well...almost every evening. As it is a 2 level apartment in the city - there was a little noise from the residents upstairs - but that is city living! Highly recommend! Cheers, Andy, Amy & Chloe
This place would be hard to beat!
This was the perfect summer housing for myself and my two friends. The layout was wonderful and made it feel like we had our own spaces/privacy (we were spoiled with our own bathrooms). The furniture/fixtures are very intentional and coordinated and make the place feel homey yet upscale. Brad and Becky were wonderful landlords. They made sure to check in frequently and were incredibly responsive with any issues. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone! Old Town is really fun and we enjoyed having so much within walking distance (Wells, Lincoln Park, North Ave Beach). The property also has ample space for guests if you have someone popping by :) One note- there were some areas around the property we would avoid when coming home later at night. We never felt unsafe inside but we would actively avoid certain streets when coming or going. But we are also females in our mid-twenties so being aware of our surroundings is particularly top of mind for us, especially in a big city.
