It's a two-story house, but everything is upstairs. The house was recently remodeled and repainted. There's a koi fish pond at the entrance, and a porch in the back with gorgeous mountain views. The room has a ceiling fan, a full-size bed, a full-size closet, two night stands and a dresser. You'll share a hallway bathroom with another roommate. The third room in the house has its own bathroom. The house has Brazilian cherrywood floors, but the rooms have new carpet.
Neighborhood overview
This is a quiet and welcoming neighborhood. The house is in a cul-de-sac, with no traffic. Most my neighbors are homeowners. I'm a mile from a nice sandy beach. Kapaa is the island's most vibrant town; it has a charming historic center, lots of restaurants, stores and markets. The house is less than a mile from Mahelona Hospital. If you work at Wilcox Hospital in Lihue, it's a 20-minute drive.

Amazing host
I lived here throughout the summer while on my travel contract. Leo is a great landlord and super helpful when needed. The other roommates have become dear friends of mine and it made my transition onto the island easier. I stayed in the master suite which is super spacious, had my own bathroom and a big closet space. The location was perfect with a central location making it easy to get to different parts of the island.
