This is a 5 bedroom house on the top of a hill in a quiet neighborhood in Castro Valley. The back yard looks into a wide open natural space where you can see the bay and sunsets are beautiful almost every night. The neighborhood is perfect for walking around and there is a secluded trail into the lild just down the street. You'll have full use of the kitchen, living room and washer/dryer.
Space
The bedroom is available as a stand-alone rental as well as a discounted rental if paired with the room next door. Each room shares the same bathroom. If rented together I would reduce the price by $100 per month/room (each room would be $1300 per month if both are rented together.
Neighborhood overview
The house is in a quiet and safe neighborhood at the top of a hill. There is very little traffic on our street and the neighbors are very nice.

Comfortable stay
I highly recommend staying at Shanes house in Castro Valley. Nestled in a peaceful uphill location, the property offers a stunning back patio view with breathtaking sunsets that make every evening feel relaxing. The home is ideal for both day shift and night shift professionals, especially traveling nurses or anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable place to stay. If you enjoy walking, hiking, or nature trails, youll absolutely love Shane's house location.I truly have no regrets choosing this place. I would gladly stay here again if I ever take another contract in Castro Valley.

Great place to stay!!
The homeowner, Shane was very accommodating and my stay was comfortable. The house is clean and quiet, with a great location. I would recommend this room to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Highly recommended.
I enjoyed my stay here immensely. The room and house were very comfortable and inviting. Shane was a great landlord. Easily approachable and available for anything I had questions about or needed. I would totally stay here again and I recommend any traveling professionals to seek his place out to stay.
