Wonderful Stay!
I stayed in this unit for one month. It is located in a very walkable and safe neighborhood, with coffee shops and interesting stores nearby. The back yard is private with a nice patio that my dog and I enjoyed. The space is very nice and clean with lots of natural light. The landlord, Susie, was always very responsive to any and all inquiries I had during my stay.
Great Place in Central Austin
My wife and I rented this unit for a month and it was the perfect fit. It is a nice 1Bed/1Bath, but feels much larger due to the big windows and open layout. The landscaping and outdoor seating area is perfect for your morning coffee. The neighborhood is quiet, yet there are a few interesting shops and restaurants within walking distance. Susie was very responsive and made the process seamless.
Unresponsive Landlord, Grinding, noisy a/c, backedup sink
I lasted 10 days before I had to break my lease due to an unresponsive landlord who refused to repair a pre-existing a/c problem. The split a/c in the bedroom made a grinding noise that made it unable to sleep. I complained about it, as well as a backed up sink, to the landlord, and received nothing but excuses. The previous tenant had also complained, as had the neighbor in the adjoining unit about their a/c unit, and the landlord had refused to address them. After a week of asking for repairs, I reminded the landlord that Texas law requires that repairs be made within 7 days for a material problem. Only then was a repairman sent out, who said the units were junk and would go down entirely. She refused to replace them and asked for minimal repairs. She made no move to fix the sink. The neighbor has had the same problem and gave up and had the problem fixed herself. Trying to force this landlord to do right by her tenants was a drain on my time and emotions and not worth staying.
Amazing Stay!
Great location, felt very safe. Stayed for an extended amount of time, would recommend for travel nurses. Beautiful property with a friendly landlord.
