South Pasadena is a safe, quiet city of tree-lined streets and craftsman homes just north of downtown L.A. There are many good restaurants and a number of nearby grocery stores -- Ralph's, Aldi's, Trader Joe's -- as well as a weekly farmer's market. It has its own Metro station, allowing easy access to other parts of L.A. We're close to the Huntington Gardens and Old Town Pasadena.
