Great Stay for 6 months
The Meltons are awesome. Andrew was very understanding and helped me out after a layoff. Clean and cozy and in a great quiet location.
Ideal Summer Stay in Glenwood Park
I absolutely loved my time in this Glenwood Park studio! When I arrived, it was spotless and felt instantly welcoming. The location couldnt be better theres a Kroger right across the street for anything you need, and you can literally step right onto the BeltLine, which made going on walks and runs so easy and enjoyable. The landlords were friendly, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. As a single student spending the summer in Atlanta, this space was the perfect fit comfortable, convenient, and in a great neighborhood. Highly recommend!
Yearlong Stay
This studio is an excellent accommodation for the price, convenience and peace of mind knowing you are located in a safe and secure area. I originally moved into the studio back in December 2023 while completing a contract at Emory University Hospital until December 2024, upon completion of my contract. Over the year of my stay new owners, Andrew and his wife, purchased the home and allowed me to extend my stay for the remainder of my contract at Emory as arranged by the previous homeowner. To say this was an easy transition would be an understatement. Andrew and his wife were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. One brief issue that I encountered, which was handled very well, was right after the new homeowners purchased the home and underwent renovations, including staining of the hardwood floors. Upon returning to the studio after work one evening I noticed a very strong odor in my apartment stemming from the floor coatings. Andrew was very prompt in returning my call and handled the situation exceptionally well. Him and his wife immediately ordered box fans and a strong air filter to help alleviate the vapors within the studio. He also offered to pay for hotel accommodations for the evening if the issue was not resolved. The fans and filter were received in less than an hour and the issue was resolved. I say all of that to simply say if there are any issues during your stay, rest assured that the issue will be handled promptly, fairly and accommodations will be for the betterment of your stay. The location is exceptional with a Kroger and multiple restaurants within walking distance of the studio. The beltline is right outside of your door, of which there is a large metal gate securing a safe space in between the street and your front door. Gated parking is directly behind the home with a private-gated alley to walk to the street to enter your apartment. The parking lot, alley and street are all well-lit and safe. There is also a security guard that patrols the area where you park during the weekends. The studio has a large TV and comfortable Murphy bed. There is a small kitchenette with a microwave, sink and mini fridge. The only downside to the kitchenette is there is no stovetop or oven, but that never created much of an issue for me, and there is ample room for dishes and food items. You also have your own HVAC controls and the studio was well insulated for summer and winter weather. The bathroom is very nice with a gorgeous tile shower and rainfall spout. I would gladly stay here again and again if work permits. The apartment and location were superb and having Andrew and his wife as landlords only sweetens the accommodation. This location is great for short and long term rentals. Best of luck!
