Home Away From Home
I stayed at Gena's rental for a month and would stay here again if I ever find myself back in Hickory, NC! The owner (Gena) has converted her basement into a rental apartment that still feels like a home. It is well furnished and had everything I needed during my stay. Gena provided everything you would need to get settled including starter toiletries (hand soap, toilet paper) and cleaning supplies (dish soap, laundry detergent, trash bags). This was wonderful and allowed me to get a night's rest after my travels before heading to the store.
