Unsafe and Uninhabitable Avoid at All Costs We had a deeply disturbing experience at this property. The home is in extremely poor conditionunsafe, unsanitary, and absolutely not as advertised. The most serious issue was the condition of the floors. In multiple areas, the flooring feels unstable, as if you could fall through at any moment. Doors wont open fully due to warped and rotting floorboards. On top of that, there was visible mold in the kitchen cabinets and on the shower curtain, and a pervasive mildew odor throughout the house. My wife, who was in town for medical treatment specifically related to mold exposure, became ill after just one night, forcing us to leave for her health and safety. Despite notifying the agent immediately and requesting to cancel the remainder of our stay, we were met with complete refusal to refund any portion of our $1,000 deposit. I even offered to pay for the nights we stayed and the cleaning fee, but the agent insisted on keeping the entire deposit and demanded additional payment. Adding to the concern, he only accepts payment via Zelle, avoiding standard booking platforms that offer protections to rentersa red flag in itself. The listing photos and description are grossly misleadinglikely AI-enhanced or heavily edited. The property bore no resemblance to what was shown online. In reality, it was dirty, deteriorating, and infested with cockroaches. Unless you are actively looking to pay an inflated price for a hazardous, mold-ridden home and to be scammed out of your deposit, do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.
