A Soft Landing

After being displaced by the Eaton fire, we were desperate to find a place to rest, recover and plan for what was next. The VIP Suite and the management team made that possible for us. The team was very responsive, helpful and kind. It was refreshing to work directly with the landlord versus a management company. Peter truly cared about our situation and his kindness and hospitality will always be appreciated. The suite itself is very comfortable which is one of the reasons why I titled this review "A Soft Landing". The beds are so comfortable with the very best bedding (like staying at a 5-star resort). The apartment is spacious with plenty of room to find quiet for yourself or a spot to work or study. We are a family of 3 with two individuals working from the home and one a high school student. A spot for us all to work was easy to accommodate. Speaking of working - the technology (wi-fi) was exceptional. No issues connecting and streaming. Televisions are equipped with cable and have the ability to stream all your favorites (Netflix, Hulu, etc.). The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could imagine needing. They even stocked it with coffee before our arrival. Some might be concerned about parking but we had NO issue. The location is FANTASTIC! A short 4-5 minute walk and you're in the midst of darling Montrose with shops, spas, restaurants and a farmers market on Saturdays. Within an even shorter drive is a Trader Joes - a must have! As a woman I felt safe walking at night. Where in LA can you say that? I am grateful for this temporary respite and the soft landing it provided our family.
