DO NOT rent from Properties by Preston

I dont usually leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with Properties by Preston after a month-long stay at Crest at East Cobb in Marietta, GA. The unit was not cleaned before my arrival despite a $150 feedishes were dirty and there was a serious bug issue, including cockroaches and spiders. Maintenance problems were constant: the dishwasher flooded, the dryer only worked on high heat, lightbulbs were burnt out, and the ceiling fan was broken. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, and I would recommend bringing your own bedding. As a basement unit, the apartment showed signs of possible mold and water damage, which caused irritation and congestion. This was not disclosed, and the online photos were misleading. The property management team was unresponsive and failed to resolve any issues. Its now been 30 business days, and I still havent received my security deposit. Overall, very disappointing experiencerent elsewhere.

Stay Away!

Im usually not the person who writes reviews, but this rental company earned it. Roaches and dead bugs all throughout the floor and carpet, very unsanitary conditions. So much so, that my dog got so itchy I had to take him to the vet and had to rent out an industrial carpet cleaner from Home Depot to remove all the dead bugs lodged in the carpet. I attempted to contact "Properties by Preston" multiple times regarding the issue, simply asking for a refund on the cleaning fee since a cleanse was clearly not done upon. Upon speaking with customer service, someone named Josh was extremely rude, unprofessional and stopped answering my calls. I even emailed other individuals in the company and no one reached out to me after several attempts. Stay away from this company and their terrible customer service, I am never renting with this company again. Save yourself the headache and book with anyone else who cares about the individuals renting and just aren't trying to collect a check from you.
