It's a beautiful location. Our neighborhood is very nice, quiet, and friendly.
It has beautiful hiking trails around right from the house, no driving is required.
We are close to the Y (hw 89 and hw 50 intersection), South Lake Tahoe downtown and Stateline: Nevada's Gondola, hotels, casinos, shops, and restaurants.
It is also only 20 min drive to the beautiful sandy beaches of South Lake Tahoe.

Our house is located in Christmas Valley of South Lake Tahoe, CA.
We surrounded by US National Forest. Several easy steam accesses are within 5-10 minutes of walk. Great hikes and biking can be done straight from the house. Most of Christmas Valley population is local. But we are between two houses that are being rented as short term rental.
