Wonderful host, lovely home

Elena was excellent in communicating with us, answering our questions, and making everything easy from the start. She allowed us to arrive a day early when a major storm threatened to disrupt our travels and provided everything imaginable for cooking in the fully stocked kitchen. She even got a brand new gas grill for our use. On our arrival we had a little blip opening the door (the door handle required a little more leverage than we were applying); she answered our call immediately and we got into the house without difficulty following her instructions. The house was well-situated within a short drive to downtown Venice and a short bike ride to impressive biking and walking trails. We were very comfortable there and appreciated all the extras, from beach towels and beach chairs to small laundry bags for our delicates. Our dogs played in the fenced-in yard while we sat in the sun. We have stayed in many rentals through the years and this is among the very best. Thank you, Elena.
