A Mothers Perspective

I was admittedly terrified for my young adult child to spend 6 months in Austin. We are from a rural community and Austin just seemed overwhelming. When we started looking for housing I was even more overwhelmed. I stumbled upon this little place and it was an answer to every prayer. We immediately connected with the owners and were able to view the property. It was the perfect place. It felt like being out in the country in the middle of a big city. As a parent, safety is one of the top concerns for our kids. I never had to question my childs safety here. In addition to the property being safe, the owners became a second family to my child. I cannot say enough good things about this place and these people. If we had it to do all over again, I would not change a thing. 11/10 stars from this momma.

I had the pleasure of staying in this amazing property during my internship at the state capitol. Coming from a rural area, coming to Austin was a big step. However, having this amazing place to stay and amazing hospitality from Joanne & family made everything so easy. This property is so peaceful and safe, but so close to restaurants and shops to enjoy the austin experience. If youre looking for the perfect place to stay, this is it! Youll have the best experience & gain lifelong friends from the owners.

Amazing Place and Amazing People!

Don't hesitate to reach out about this place! It's amazing location and atmosphere super quiet and very close to all things you need (Restaurants, grocery stores, etc.). Joanne is hands down one of if not the nicest person I have met. She worked with me when I was in a bind and working with me on the previous situation I was in. She was willing to help out and is very friendly to veterans/active duty who need a place to stay and went as far as to give me a big discount because of it. Joanne and her family are very welcoming and always want to do some BBQ and family dinners and will not hesitate to bring you in as if you're part of the family. They have very good values and are a very welcoming Christian family. If I didn't have to leave to go back to school I wouldn't think twice about extending my stay here!
