Apartment in San Diego, California
Landlord Tenure: 1 year, 6 months
Single family home with an attached private studio and private patio. We are located on a quiet street near a park with canyon access. The street we live on has little to no traffic and lots of parking. We are within 10-15 minutes of most hospitals, beach, downtown and the airport. The front of the house has nice curb appeal with lots of palms surrounding the house.
This is a private studio with a private entrance and patio. The unit has a washer/dryer, AC, heat, full kitchen with supplies. The studio is attached to the main house but enters on the opposite side of the house. There is a shared wall but no common space. Some noise should be expected through the walls. A car can be rented for $300/month. Wi-Fi is included and so are all utilities, within reason. If you prefer to no...
University city is a quiet neighborhood with a strong community. Our house is a short walk to a park and canyon trails on our street. We are very centrally located with easy freeway access. Most places in San Diego can be reached in under 20 minutes. The closest beach is 6 miles away and a 10 minute drive.
Home away from home
The Studio at the Beckman’s has become my San Diego home. In total, I have lived at the studio for over a year (thus not many reviews!). I was the first renter, left for the summer and then came back. (The review continues in another date, since the app has a cap on characters!) As a traveling professional, this place is ideal. It has all you need. The layout is perfect. Good size bathroom and kitchen and it even has a washer/dryer unit. It’s a very chill neighborhood and it’s close to all the main highways which is amazing. In terms of noise, it’s very silent. They did a great job at sound proofing the place. You might sometimes hear the melody of their washer and dryer when the cycle is ready or when they go fetch something in the attic (which is not often and always in reasonable hours), but that’s about it. Though the main window faces the driveway, it’s still quite private. (Review continues)
Great studio and neighborhood!
I stayed with Justin in this renovated studio last summer while in San Diego for an internship. The neighborhood was quiet, family-oriented, and the commute to sorrento valley is very easy. The studio felt new and very clean with great amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. Justin and his family were super welcoming, had great suggestions for things to do in SD, and always wanted to know if there was anything that could be improved. I was never bothered by noise coming from the house, the only occasional noise came from the family kids and their friends playing in the yard during the day. I would definitely stay here again if I find myself in San Diego!
