Convenient & Comfortable Stay

My daughter and I stayed here for a month in August and would definitely stay here again. The host, Karen, was very helpful and ensured her place was a perfect home away from home. The unit is spacious, the AC is great, the beds are comfortable, the TV worked well (especially since we hooked up our AppleTV) and the garage parking was very convenient. The units location is great with easy access to lots of walking paths, the very cute East Des Moines downtown area and Capitol, and also the weekly farmers market. Theres a grocery store with a Starbucks a block away and lots of restaurants nearby. Its a little loud because your right downtown, but nothing too outrageous. The only con I would say is its a little creepy going to the gym by yourself because its in the basement and usually empty. Other than that, the place is great and we really enjoyed our stay!

Nice downtown apartment, just a short drive to several nearby hospitals. There are multiple restaurants and bars within walking distance, as well as a small Hyvee. K is a great landlord, and I'd gladly stay here again if I'm in the area.
