Third Avenue Lofts - 1BD/1BA in Old Town Scottsdale

Great location but some deferred maintenance

The location is great - just East of old town Scottdale - walking distance to most everything! The complex is very quiet, upscale, clean. The property manager is awesome! Very professional and responsive. My issues with the unit itself: - There is no dresser available. You will need to live out of your suitcase or spread your clothes out on the shelves and floor of the closet like I did. - Wifi did not work. The router was over 10 years old. I ended up using the wifi provided by the complex which was a pretty slow and weak signal. The property manager did try to fix this - The faucets leaked from the base and shower head was calcified and hard to control - There were several broken pots and pans that were just put away - Dishwasher barely worked - Several other minor things Basically, this unit had a lot of deferred maintenance. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this rental as is. If the owner spends some money on maintenance and upgrades (and a dresser!) this unit would be amazing.
