Absolutely Perfect Retreat

I cannot find any remotely negative thing to say about my time spent living at this beautiful little backyard bungalow. I have traveled to and lived many places in my life, and this is easily one of the most beautiful I've ever had the opportunity to live in. Shana is fantastic and accommodating, too. Anything I asked for, though it was never much, she was happy to help within reason. For me, the walk from the driveway to the front door every evening was the perfect way to transition out of the workplace mind frame and into one of relaxation and being surrounded by nature.

Everything you'll need and want!

This place had exactly what was needed! Small kitchen with a deck, w/d, standing shower, small livingroom area with French doors, and a comfy bed across from the kitchen. The covered deck was nice to sit on for those morning coffees, late night martinis, or to sit and watch/listen to the rain. The french doors open inward and it was nice to open to listen to the rain or catch a nice breeze. Snow was occasional, but absolutely beautiful to see from the windows/doors. Nice bright lighting from the windows/doors when blinds are open. 11 min drive to Moses Cone Hospital. VERY nice & safe area. A nice mixture of nature and civilization. Neighbors behind the cottage would walk by, wave, and say hi - super nice people. The owner, Shana, was fabulous!! They definitely respected my privacy and kept me informed of any prior events. If anything needed attention Shana was on it. If I could have stayed longer, I 100% would have.
