Sunnyside is a rural neighborhood on the north shore of Lake Pend Oreille about halfway between Sandpoint and Hope, Idaho. The property at Hawkins Point has been in the same family since 1944. The area is popular for its southern exposure, stunning views of the lake and mountains, and public access. A backcountry horse woman who loves the outdoors, camping, flying and being active. A retired editor, I formed Twin Cedars Camping and Vacation Rentals in 2014 along with my husband, Mike. Originally from Wisconsin, I grew up in North Idaho riding horses and skiing. I graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1985 and earned a degree in journalism at the University of WisconsinMadison.
