Deceptive Owner - Stole $$ & Ignored Move In Date
Spoke to the landlord a few days before Christmas stating that I desperately wanted to have an actual home by Christmas and if so I would be able to pay them the security deposit along with several months in advance rent.He gave me the option to pay in Venmo which I did not have or do the key check payments. Not clarifying that there would be a large fee for each rent payment. And refused to take any other options. After paying immediately and asking when I would be reimbursed. They had the nerve to completely ignore any communication regarding moving in by Christmas! Didn't get back to me for several days AFTER Christmas. Refuses to give me the fees and I didn't get the apartment how is this possible. They finally refunded my money after quite a long time in a hassle going back and forth. An still refuse to refund
