Our stay at the Gold Country Guest House was wonderful! It has close access to downtown Grass Valley and Nevada City. We loved sitting out on the porch and watching the stars at night. We enjoyed the quiet solitude and comfortable setting. The hosts were amazing and treated us like we were family. We would recommend this place to everyone and will spread the word for anyone who is coming into town.

Awesome place and amazing hosts!!

We stayed at the Gold Country Guest House for a couple weeks during our move from southern California, and it was one of the best places we have ever rented - clean, attractive, tastefully (and completely!) furnished and wonderfully quiet. Eric and Lorrie are very attentive and hospitable as hosts, and their beautiful dogs made us feel completely at home. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the Grass Valley/Nevada City area!

An incredible stay truly the best ever! Spotless, beautifully decorated, with every amenity one could ask for. Lorrie was exceptionally welcoming, making sure everything was there for a perfect stay. Location ideal, close to my work, peaceful & quiet. Couldnt have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch stay. Five stars all around! Lorrie and her husband Eric were respectful of my privacy along with being what I consider my 2nd family. It would behoove you to like animals as they have the 2 most lovely dogs, well trained and love people. I do so miss them both but have to say Bailey was my fav......sorry Berkley!!! LOL place is beautiful, wish I could of stayed longer. You are safe as it is gated, using the appliances and TV easy. You can't find a more perfect place. Make sure you go outside at night and see the splendor of the night sky above. One will not be disappointed with this lovely, charming place.
