Emory Nightmare

I rented this home near Emory on short notice, but it was a nightmare. It looked nothing like the photos. The house was filthy, smelled musty, and was covered in pet hair. The cushions were stained, and the pull-out mattress had urine stains. The property was outdated, lacked blinds, and had few three-prong outlets. Worse, we dealt with a persistent rat infestation for our entire six-month stay. We reported it repeatedly, only to learn the issue had existed for years. These were large rats in our kitchen. The washer and dryer were in a bug-infested garage filled with trash and droppings. The outdoor bins were overflowing when we arrived. Despite leaving the home cleaner than we found it, the owner kept my $500 deposit over furniture placement. I would never recommend this property; save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere. This was an unacceptable experience.

Wonderful stay!

My partner and I stayed at Hannah's place for the duration of my internship at a local museum. This apartment was perfect for what we needed with our little pup. The beautiful woodsy backyard and surrounding neighborhood, plus the close proximity to Emory University make this apartment unbeatable! Hannah was communicative and kind throughout the leasing process. Our neighbor in the duplex was also so friendly and helpful through the duration of our stay. Thanks so much for everything-- we can't wait to visit Atlanta again!!
