Wonderful Downtown Dream

I stayed here this summer and it was wonderful. John is attentive and accommodating, easy to live with, knowledgeable about all things Reno and an all around great guy. The room I stayed in is loud on the weekends in the summer with cars coming by, probably less so in the winter. The bed is comfortable, and the common areas are relaxing and easy to use. I would recommend this place, if you like to be in the middle of it all, wonderful late night strolls by the river and a few parks in walking distance were some of the highlights for me.

Great place in center of the Reno

Great spacious place, landlord John was really responsive and respectful. Its a nice central area and within walking distance to the casinos and midtown. Parking is best done on the street or at the courthouse parking lot. The place is on the main street, so it does get noisy around Friday and Saturday evenings.

Thanks, Nyi, it's been a pleasure having you here! This is evidenced by my applying 100% of your security deposit to your last month's rent. The address is Virginia Street on the edge of the Truckee River. Centrally located with nearly 1,000 venues (e.g. Museums, Concert Halls, Restaurants, Entertainment--yes, Casinos) within a stone's throw. Outdoor Summer events are embraced here with a passion. Hiking, the Arts and a wide range of activities are year round. The Unofficial Street Party Zone begins on Fourth Street ( El Dorado Casino and Hotel) which is across the Truckee River and four blocks away. So, Weekenders going over the Truckee Viriginia Street Bridge (viewed from the property) to enjoy the festivities, at times express a certain exuberance. As you know, this historic property shares the ground floor with one of the standout restaurants (with river patio seating) The Wild River Grill as well as with the Sierra Arts Gallery with monthly new openings and receptions and a series of weekly/monthly events.
