Quiet residential location bordering a park. The apartment is at the end of a cul-de-sac with no through traffic on the road. It is a walk of less than a mile to Kona Community Hospital. Most needed amenities such as a supermarket, post office, library, restaurants, organic food wholesaler, are within walking distance.
Excellent Rental
This is an above average one bedroom rental with nice kitchen area and covered lanai near the entrance. The owners are wonderful, friendly people and the setting is surrounded by tropical plants and organic garden. The rental is perfect for temporary hospital workers, and the hospital is within walking distance. We were glad we found them and were able to rent from them.
Garden Oasis
This little peaceful Ohana is perfect, especially if you're working at Kona Community Hospital, and it's right next to a park. The owners have transformed their yard into a beautiful garden and it is one of my favorite parts about this place, full of fresh fruits and vegetables. The owners are so kind and easy to communicate with, which made everything feel stress-free. They recently added a terrace in the garden and it turned out absolutely beautiful. I would happily stay here again.
Home away from home
This property is unbelievable! Breathtaking views, fresh produce from the garden, and Aviva and Woody are the most welcoming homeowners! I first met them over a video call and I knew it was a good match. They are amazing cooks and hosts! I lived there from June 20th-Nov 22nd and it was tough to leave. It's perfect for a single person or a couple. It felt spacious without unused space. I thought that not having ac would be an issue because I'm from Houston TX but the altitude makes up for it with a cool breeze. The drive to the hospital is like 5 min. Downside for me being night shift is most restaurants close between 7-9pm with no late night options close by so planning ahead is important. I felt safe and comfortable there which is very important as traveling single woman. When I visit again for work or just for fun this will be my go to place stay if it's available.
