The house, a traditional Acadian Style house located on the banks of Contraband Bayou, is designed for both inside and outdoor living. It was constructed with many unique features: Downstairs the walls are clad in rare Pecky Cypress wainscoating and the floors consist of reclaimed wide plank boards. The house has two upstairs bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. Downstairs is an open plan kitchen/dining area, spacious entry hall and large den with full bath. Adjacent to the den is an area that can serve as a dog room with outdoor access to a screened porch and secure yard. The front of the house has an open porch that overlooks the large yard leading to Contraband Bayou. There is a two car carport.
Neighborhood overview
The house is located 3 blocks inside the 210 loop. It sits at the end of the street on a verylarge private lot with a large yard (we cover yard maintenance) bordering Contraband Bayou. We live next door so are close at hand if you have any problems.
