Awesome place to stay in Portsmouth!

I am a medical student who completed a one-month rotation at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. The unit is about 3 miles from the hospital and close to downtown Portsmouth. Public transit is convenient, with a nearby bus stop providing access to Portsmouth, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach. I ran to the hospital in the morning and took the bus in the evening, always feeling safe. The unit is modern, clean, quiet, and well-equipped for an extended stay. While it lacks a washer and dryer, a nearby laundromat was affordable and safe. I mainly used Walmart delivery and occasionally walked to a nearby store without issue. Kara, the property owner, is kind, responsive, and respectful. The unit is very affordable for its amenities, and I would gladly rent again.

Perfect Place

This place is absolutely wonderful! Perfect fit for one or two people. The neighborhood is beautiful and a short distance to the water. It's quiet both inside and out. I felt very safe staying there alone. Its located in a wonderful area of Portsmouth! Kara is an absolute gem! She is incredibly kind and generous. She makes you feel very welcomed! Definitely recommend!

Perfect place, price, location and landlord

My husband was working close by for a few months, and we found Kara's place and it was perfect for his needs. The two things we loved about it was that he had his own private entrance and the price! The place in its own right is just adorable. It is attached to the back of the home and the entrance is through the backyard gate and there's your door! The neighborhood is very nice and neat and quiet. A lot of storage and a very nice big bathroom, a comfy bed plus a daybed. My husband had it made! His stay was cut short unfortunately because he became ill and had to leave his job. This IS the place for anyone looking for a short-term lease that is affordable and very very nice. Kara is one-in-a-million also!
