Cozy home in Salida

Summer in Salida! Thank you Karen!

My partner and I stayed from the end of May to the end of September and loved every minute. We both worked remotely the whole time, and the space and great internet made it easy. Everything was incredibly clean, and the appliances and utilities always worked amazingly, start to finish. The old-timey feel of the house is so cool and gives the space a wonderful, cozy character. Family and friends who visited commented on it constantly. The location is hard to beat: a short walk to the river, downtown, a coffee shop, and the grocery store. We had our cars but often just biked. The big backyard with a fire pit was a great bonus. Karen was wonderful to work with. She helped us a lot while we prepared for our stay, and whenever we needed anything she responded quickly and took care of it. We hope to be back in the future and highly recommend this home, especially for anyone planning a longer stay in Salida!

Comfortable stay in the heart of Salida

Stayed for 1 month and wish it could have been longer! The house has spacious dining room and living room and very comfortable beds. Very short walk to important Salida spots such as restaurants and shops on F street, river walk and base of S mountain for hiking/biking. Really could not have been better. The host/owner was also very responsive and courteous. I will definitely look to stay here again when I come back! Highly recommend to others as well.
