5-Star Stay

I had a fantastic 5-star stay with Eileen! The home is very affordable for the area, located in a nice, walkable neighborhood with a lovely outdoor community space. I truly felt like part of the family, with full freedom to use the kitchen and living room while still having my own private retreat. Eileen is incredibly kind and accommodating, she gave me great local tips and always tried to include me in activities, but she also perfectly respected my privacy when I needed downtime. Highly recommend!

Kind and amazing host

I stayed at this residence during the Summer 2025 for an internship, and after three years in the United States, this was the most pleasant place I have lived. Eileen is the best landlord I have had so far. She made my stay comfortable and provided a balance of care and necessary privacy. As a private person, I felt my space and boundaries were respected. While the home often had people and children around, the atmosphere was warm and peaceful. It gave me the feeling of being surrounded by family, so I never felt alone. I was still able to retreat to my room, focus on my work, and enjoy my solitude when needed. Eileen's consideration and understanding were remarkable, especially as I am a relatively recent newcomer to the States. I felt looked after and supported. She is an amazing person, and I would come back again. If I ever return to the California/LA area, my first stop will be to visit her and thank her personally!

Excellent host and location

I thoroughly enjoyed my time here! Eileen is a wonderful host who is kind, generous and very welcoming. Eileen has a lovely house that is clean and well taken care of. There is a nice outdoor space and lots of natural light throughout. The location is excellent walking distance from stores, the beach, and other fun activities. Sometimes the house was full of people, but it didn't interfere with my stay and Eileen communicated when others would be around. I would definitely stay here again!
