This classic New Orleans double shotgun apartment is in a quirky little out of the way neighborhood of New Orleans that most visitors never see. The neighbors are friendly and the levee is a block away – it’s a serene place to walk, run, or cycle with brilliant views of the Mississippi River. The apartment is totally functional with plenty of extra towels and linens, and you will have what you need to cook a meal or relax and watch a movie. The Marigny and Bywater neighborhoods are minutes away, the French Quarter is 15 minutes, and you can get almost anywhere else in New Orleans in about 20 minutes. There is a new Aldi, a Walmart Supercenter, and Canseco’s food market close by. Stephanie is a great host – she is super responsive and always kind and easy to deal with, as is her handyman Mr. John.
