Comfort and Communication Issues Proceed with Caution
I stayed at this property while on a work assignment and had a mixed experience. The home itself had several comfort issues particularly poor insulation. The bedrooms, were extremely cold despite my attempts to weatherproof the windows, along with inconsistent heating throughout the house. The floors were ice cold. There were also cleanliness concerns, including evidence of rodent droppings in the sunroom and an ant infestation that couldnt be tamed. There were multiple instances of direct accusations (regarding missing dishes and keys) that were later resolved without acknowledgment or apology. Some of the messaging felt presumptive and escalated quickly before basic checks were made. Additionally, a visit during our stay though communicated-felt intrusive, as it involved multiple family members walking through and touring the home while we were present. I would recommend future renters ask detailed questions about heating, insulation, and expectations of their privacy.
