Home away from home- just what I needed!

My stay here truly felt like a “home away from home.” Karry, the landlord, was warm, responsive, and went above and beyond whenever I needed anything. The optipnsl cleaning service was a huge bonus! Kylee was also very helpful with both the apartment and local recommendations. I especially appreciated the outside referral for petcare for my aging dogs, it gave me real peace of mind. The location is excellent—about a 10-minute walk to Deaconess—so I didn’t need hospital parking. The garage space was also a great convenience. The property is quiet, with only occasional helicopter noise due to nearby hospitals. There are nearby parks, Manito Park is my favorite, or there is a small grassy area on the property. For weekend brunch or a quick market run, Huckleberry’s Market is just minutes away. Like all the guests I met staying here, I would definitely stay here again. Comfortable, well-managed, and exactly what I needed!

Great Communicator, Inflexible after Deaconess Hospital canceled

Karrie was courteous, communicative, & very customer service oriented throughout the initial rental process. She responded promptly & ensured the space was ready for move-in, which I appreciated. That said, my experience working with her was different from other landlords Ive met through the FF community. My hospital contract at MultiCare Deaconess was unexpectedly canceled last minute; outside my control & not uncommon in this field. Travelers contracted with Deaconess should note this hospital has a history of last-minute cancellations. While many hosts within the Furnished Finder community show flexibility & shared understanding in these situations, Karrie chose to adhere strictly to her lease & retain my first months rent. She explained her grievance professionally, but her approach was clearly business-focused rather than partnership-based.
