I'm staying in such an amazing home, rn!! (831032) Unfortunately my contract is ending @end of month and I can't extend. If you're looking for (shared) housing in the LaFayette/Walnut Creek/Oakland area: I *strongly recommend this LL, Diana. I'm commuting about 40min to SF but the peace I have @this home, makes it so worth it, to me. I look forward to being here bc I Actually feel welcomed & safe and sadly, that isnt always the case w/landlords, for me. Diana, is thee perfect LL: she's not snooping or pestering me w/nonsense. She minds her business & gives me free-range of the house: Kitchen, living room, patio and Laundry (doesn't hog the washer/dryer like most tenants have). Very spacious kitchen to cook freely: I have three shelves in the fridge (plus a bonus mini fridge in the room). A full pantry shelf as well and my favorite of it all- I have my own private entrance w/a *spacious porch where I can do my stretching exercises, read or just simply gaze at the breathtaking views. The room is very spacious w/*private bathroom w/a bidet, tub shower, sm/med walk-in closet, ample dresser(s) space & unlike other LLs, she actually turns AC on during hot days!! The room might get chilli in the morning's, but nothing extreme. There is no work desk in the room, but the patio does have a small round table w/ chairs & an umbrella plus a shade roller. Its perfect! The breeze/views that surrounds this home/neighborhood makes it feel like I'm on vacation. It gets pretty windy @night, but its great. Her home is uphill & must drive up/down very slow/cautiously. Its also a good workout should you choose to walk up/down it. I have a safe parking spot to keep my car as well. It does get pretty dark @night but it's not an eerie feeling b/c Diana has the outside perimeter well lit. Diana is very considerate of the morning noise level: she starts her day very early & I dont ever hear her. I don't even need to have earbuds in. The same w/the neighborhood-peaceful. This is a 'no pets allowed' stay, but, She has pets!! She has a beautiful, friendly dog, Luna. She's a malamute (looks like a husky-wolf ), she keeps me company when I'm at the home, alone. She also has a cat. But is shy and doesn't let herself interact with humans. She just let's you see her from a distance and I respect that. There are a few nearby facilities: *John Muir: <3miles *Kaiser, Walnut Creek: <3miles. *San Ramon Reg: 12-13miles. *Kaiser, Oakland: <12miles. Etc. There are several shopping centers nearby and a lot of awesome hiking/bike trails as well. There's also a nearby movie drive-in. S.F is only 45-1hr away. I'm pretty bummed to have to leave. But I'm also excited for others, to get to experience the best 'vacation' stay. I promise this place/LL are worth it!!
