Serious Safety Concerns and Poor Move-Out Experience

I would not recommend this housing situation, especially for solo travelers. During my stay, I returned twice to find my deadbolt locked even though I had not locked it myself. When I raised the concern, I was told it may have somehow locked on its own. After it happened more than once, I no longer felt safe staying there and moved out early. I requested a prorated refund for the unused portion of my stay and was also disappointed to be charged utilities for a period when I was no longer living there. Security concerns in a rental should be taken extremely seriously. Between the unexplained deadbolt incidents and the way the move-out and refund situation was handled, I would not stay here again and would strongly caution other travelers to clarify security, access, utilities, and refund policies before booking.
