As an intern who was in the city for one year, I feel incredibly blessed that I chose this housing. The property is clean, quiet, cozy, comfortable, and fully furnished, with amenities included in the rent. It's in a great neighborhood, and having a washer and dryer on-site is a huge bonus and an incredible value. I relied on public transportation (Red Line and bus) every day to get to work, often at various hours due to working in the service industry, and never had any issues. As long as you plan and time your transportation properly, getting around is very manageable. The train station is also within walking distance. Ian, the homeowner, is an exceptional landlord-responsive, respectful, accommodating, honest, and genuinely kind. He made my entire experience easy and stress-free. Overall, everything was fantastic. 10/10-highly recommend! You will not regret renting from Ian.

Best Airbnb I've stayed in!

As a 4th year medical student, I had to travel from state to state for clinical rotations. I had two rotations within the Chicago area and of course, I had to make living arrangements for both rotations in the Fall and Spring Semesters. During my 3rd rotation of my 4th year, I had the pleasure of coming into contact with Ian's Garden Unit listing for my rotation at NWU. Ian was extremely accommodating and welcoming from beginning to the end of both of rotations. What landlord waits for their tenant to arrive at 3am in the morning to help get situated into their airbnb? The level of hospitality Ian offered is refreshing and that's what led me to come back to his Airbnb for my 2nd rotation in Chicago. It was a very quiet and uneventful stay in his accommodations, just the way I like it haha! Thank you Ian for your professional and hospitality during both of my stays.

It was a great stay! Ian was very responsive, accommodating and extremely kind throughout the duration of the lease, and even afterwards. The property itself was also fantastic, though the neighborhood may not be to everyone's comfortability. I had a very positive experience with the host they were responsive, welcoming, and made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. The property itself was clean, well-furnished, and had all the essentials for a comfortable visit. That said, the surrounding neighborhood may not be the right fit for everyone. Overall, the host went above and beyond, and I truly appreciated their hospitality.
