excellent experience
Really enjoy living here. The place is comfortable, clean, and easy to settle into, with a layout that works well day to day. Its in a convenient location and felt safe and pleasant as a short term home. The landlord is also a big plus: responsive, easy to talk to, and genuinely kind. Overall, a great rental experience and Id happily recommend it.
Homey One Bedroom
This place served us really well for the past few months while our apartment was under renovation. Norma is very responsive whenever any issues come up (all minor). The apartment is cozy and stays warm in the winter, and it gets great sunlight every morning. We had a lot of requirements when we were looking for a place (allows dogs, has parking, ideally has a washer/dryer) so we were lucky to find this place. On that note, parking is actually quite easy here - never had an issue getting a spot within a block, so it's the easiest parking situation I've ever had in SF. The neighborhood is really cute and there are plenty of parks and a small downtown nearby with all the things you might need.
Unfortunate
I really enjoyed the neighborhood and found the unit itself beautiful. However, there were some issues worth noting: theres an unfinished, gutted-looking closet that is not shown in the listing photos, and there was significant noise transfer from the unit upstairs. As a travel nurse, Ive rented many places over the past three years usually for 9 months or longer and this was by far the most difficult landlord experience Ive had. The landlord was unprofessional and frequently made last-minute requests to enter the unit, which felt intrusive and disruptive to my privacy. This left me feeling anxious about returning home, and I felt my time and boundaries were not respected. For the highest rent Ive ever paid, I expected a much smoother and more professional experience. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend.
