Amazing host!!
My 5 year old golden retriever and I stayed with Laissa for 6 months, and it was a dream! It's a perfect location in quiet West Seattle. A short walk to Lincoln Park down the infamous Thistle Street Stairs, a 10 minute drive to Alki Beach, a 15 minute drive to Harborview Medical Center. 5 minute drive to necessities like Target, QFC, the local gym. West Seattle as a whole is a perfect location- close enough to Downtown (15 minute drive OR you can take the King County Water Taxi which will drop you off directly on the waterfront). The home is clean and quiet, but living with Laissa made all the difference. As a host, she was extremely helpful with caring for my dog on my long shifts, watching and also walking him for me from time to time. I'll miss our dinners together and debriefs after long days. She really made the house a home! Highly highly highly recommend staying here. If I return to Seattle for another contract, I'll be reaching out to stay here again!

Clean and Quiet
I stayed with Laissa for 4 months while on a work contract in Seattle. The room and entire house was spotless. While the house is on a pretty busy street, the room is in the back of the house and pretty quiet. I had my dog stay with me and the door opening directly to the backyard from the room was a great convenience. While I only used public transportation a few times, it was nice that the bus stop was only a 5 minute walk away. I was very happy with my choice to stay in west Seattle for my contract as I enjoyed the close access to all the amenities Seattle has, but it was quieter and calmer over in west Seattle. The neighborhood is very walkable and I felt safe on all my morning/evening walks with my dog. I would be happy to stay here again if I were to return to Seattle.
