True Gem
I’ve worked at Stanford on multiple contracts and stayed in several places—this is by far the best one. Sheila and Kirk are amazing hosts, and they’ve thought of everything you might need. It truly feels like a home away from home. I was fortunate to stay here for six months, and it ended up being one of my most memorable experiences in the Bay Area. The view of the bay every morning is beautiful, and the location is incredibly convenient—just about 10 minutes from the 280 freeway. This place is a true gem. Anyone who has the opportunity to stay here will be lucky. I hope I get the chance to come back for my next contract in Northern California
Most peaceful stay I've ever had.
I've stayed in many units over the years. I will have to say that this has been my best experience. The location of the studio is tucked away in the hills where you get amazing views of the bay. The landlord Sheila and her son were amazing hosts and very attentive. The unit was stocked well with the necessities and fully equipped with all you with need for your stay. I had the best of both worlds. A retreat from the busyness but also a short drive to cities such as San Carlos, Palo Alto and Redwood City. I'm truly going to miss staying here. I enjoyed every moment. Will be the first place I seek out if I find myself working in the area again.
