Safe, quiet, and comfortably equipped

I stayed in Lyallyns home for six months, from September to March, and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The house was well maintained and exactly as described. As someone whos always cold, I really appreciated that she provided a heater. I also prefer cooking over eating out, so having a full kitchen where I could prepare all my meals made my stay even better. The natural light from the living room door and windows kept the space bright and open, so it never felt like a typical downstairs apartment. The neighborhood was safe and quiet, with easy access to everything . Lyallyn was incredibly responsive and kind, always making sure I was comfortable. I'd gladly stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a reliable rental.

I'm so grateful

I was so grateful to stay in Lyallyns downstairs apartment. When I was planning my stay and throughout the visit, she was very easy to communicate with by text. The apartment has so many details I love from a roll top desk, to neat artwork, to an awesome couch in the living room, to a well appointed kitchen to a spacious bedroom with a walk in closet. The living room and kitchen get ample light from big windows. In the bedroom, I heard no car noise and slept so soundly. I loved being in Aurora, which is a very sweet and walkable small town. At the same time, it was wonderful being close to Portland and fairly close to the Oregon Coast.

Lovely, restful stay

Lyallyn was so welcoming when I arrived. I appreciated all the amenities, including a heater she especially set up for me because of some cool, cloudy weather. Usually, I don't sleep well the first night or two in a strange bed, but I had no trouble having good sleep all the nights I was there. The bed is so comfortable. It was nice to get up in the morning and look out over the tree-enclosed backyard. Lyallyn's place was a peaceful and comfortable place for me to stay in Aurora.

Beautiful and peaceful apartment

My husband and I stayed in the downstairs apartment and it was such a peaceful and beautiful retreat! The view of the river is absolutely stunning, and the backyard is just as lovelyperfect for relaxing or enjoying a cup of coffee outside. The outdoor hangout area is such a nice touch and great for soaking in the scenery. Inside, the apartment is thoughtfully set up with a cozy living room, a spacious bedroom, and a charming kitchenette that has everything you need. Its the perfect blend of comfort, space, and natural beauty! Lyallyn is a wonderful hostwarm and welcoming, yet always respectful of your privacy. Shes readily available if you need anything, making you feel both cared for and completely at ease.
