Fantastic room near VCU

This home is perfect for VCU Health employees. Private cozy room. Quiet home. Just a 5 minute drive from VCU. Spacious clean bedroom, very comfortable bed and private bathroom. Jill was a delight to rent from, very chill and laid back. I miss my animals when I travel so I enjoyed her pets. They spend most of their time in Jill's room but are super sweet. I cook often and the huge kitchen is really nice was stocked with pans etc. Will definitely stay here again.

FRAUD! Don't Rent Here

Jill seemed great at first. I paid half my deposit almost a month before move-in, and she even helped me move the bed to make space. I slept there one night. The next morning, her cat attacked me (I have photos/videos of blood down my leg from 10/22). Jill apologized and offered to prorate my rent for that one night. I no longer felt safe, so I stayed in hotels and with friends until I found a new place and moved out. Jill promised to refund $1,100 within two days. When I followed up four days later, she suddenly said shed only return $500, claiming I caused a floor scratchno move-in photos, no proof, no receipts for repairs, and she had helped move the bed. On Nov 4 she said she didnt intend to keep the full $600 and would send the rest as soon as she could. As of Dec 9, nothing. Im a 100% disabled veteran with everything documented. Ive reported her to Furnished Finder. Beware if you plan to stay here.
