Beautifully Designed Zen Escape At The Base Of Mt Tabor

Kyras Zen Haus is an absolute dream! Perfectly located at the base of Mount Tabor, its the ideal spot for hiking, nature, and stunning views. The trails are just steps away, making it easy to immerse yourself in Portlands natural beauty while enjoying a peaceful retreat. The space is incredibly comfortable and thoughtfully designed, with great energy throughout. It has every amenity you could needfrom the cozy porch perfect for morning coffee or evening meals, to the private parking space and inviting patio. Kyra was a phenomenal hostkind, responsive, and always communicative. She made sure everything was perfect and went above and beyond to make the stay smooth and enjoyable. The design of the Zen Haus is truly impressive: modern, calming, and full of beautiful, intentional details. Its a space that immediately makes you feel at home. I cant recommend it highly enough and look forward to staying again!

Beautiful, peaceful home + great host

I loved my stay at Kyra's Zen Haus! I was there for almost 6 months over the pandemic, and it was wonderful to have Mt. Tabor Park and reservoir literally within steps for mental health walks and outside time. It's also a short drive/bike ride to the Hawthorne area, and Rain or Shine cafe is down the street on the corner - try the vegan breakfast sandwich! The unit itself is furnished beautifully with owner-quality furniture and kitchen items. It was cozy and perfect. Kyra told me that her father is an architect and they designed the ADU together, which is so wonderful! Kyra is a communicative and kind host and was extremely responsive when I had an issue with the washer/dryer in the unit. Beyond that, she's become a friend and we still keep in touch. I'd definitely recommend Kyra's Zen Haus for your stay, you won't regret it!
