Cozy sanctuary!
I can't rave enough about my stay here! Not only did Jessica and her family go out of their way to help me last minute they ensured I had everything I needed, checked in regularly. She really helped me in a pinch not only once, but twice when my housing didn't work out. Each room of the house is thoughtfully designed with care and comfort. Blackout curtains so if you are nightshift this is huge. Kitchen has all the essentials. The room/bed I was in was extremely comfortable. Each room appears the same, all being very spacious. And a security system and cameras outside the home which made me feel extremely safe. The area itself I had no issues, it was quiet and I felt safe. I know noise was mentioned prior in a review but I had no problems whatsoever! I never heard my neighbor downstairs that is in the apartment below when sleeping or in my room upstairs. And I have the quickest walk to work. It's an actual saving grace as a nurse. I heavily encourage anyone at RI hospital to stay here!
COZY PLACE/LOVELY LANDLORD
This was a beautiful little basement apartment that was within walking distance of where I was working all summer during a contract at @Women and Infants' Hospital, and although I would not suggest walking at night, there are a few areas where you can walk at night. I worked at night and slept in the day, and never woke up from noises above as long as I had some earplugs and turned on the white noise machine that Jess has there. Typical of a basement apartment, there was a bit of running around upstairs that could be heard, but there were kids up there, and I think they are gone, and due to that noise issue, I believe Jess will no longer rent to families with kids. She was very accommodating and fair. It was the first time she rented this out, so I dealt with a few "new" types of setbacks, but I think they are all cleared up now, and I would recommend this to any travel nurse working in the area!
