Wonderful property, Very Misleading communication/Costs

My stay here was wonderful, even complimented by landlord for state of house while I was present. But unclear rent costs that I wasn't informed of prior. At the end of my stay the deposit was withheld even though I cleaned everything prior to leaving and for a 2nd tenant that they knew was present the entire time and never said was an issue nor asked rent for. Rent always was paid on time in full amount req. Went without AC for much of summer, shared property with landlords with no prior notice at time of contract. Blamed for damaging property that wasn't used or lightly used. I have never had a deposit withheld ever until now in the 3 years I've been a travel healthcare professional. Very disappointed in the unclear communication and sudden change in landlord's opinion with no clear reason. Seems as if they want to find reasons to make the most money off of people.
