Miserable 1 month spent here
I lived here from 12/29/26-1/30/26. I gave 30 days notice my second day here. -There is no dryer as listed on FF. The washing machine hooks up to the kitchen sink and will quickly begin leaking if you do not cut the water off once filled. Clothes will take 2+ days to dry in Bay Area humidity. Maybe 1 if you open windows but need to be home to do that. There is no microwave which was listed at the time I inquired about it. I see that has been removed. -There are no actual locks on the windows, just pipes to jam above them to hold them closed. -No fan in the bathroom means it stays humid in there for hours after a shower. -The place was very clean when I moved in Ill admit. Idid what I could do with the cleaning products provided. The landlord took out a $370 cleaning fee. I questioned it and he did end up returning it to his credit. But if you expect the place to be professionally cleaned upon move out you should state that.
Above average unit, below average landlord
Landlords were initially quite pleasant and accommodating. Upon leaving, it became clear they are treating their rental as nothing more than a business, to use their own words. Despite what the ad says, there is no dryer or microwave, utilities are a separate fee, and the lease you sign does not list the fees the landlord will charge after you leave to maximize profit. Upon moving out, $600 was taken from our deposit to "return the unit to its rented condition" including a $190 "unit cleaning fee" which was listed no where in the lease, and an additional $260 for "labor for additional unit service and cleaning" when I have photographic evidence the unit was clean upon move out. The unit itself is fine, though not a good value. No matter how clean you leave the unit, landlords will use every excuse to squeeze money from your deposit, in an effort to maximize their profits. As a traveler for 5+ years and a fellow landlord to travelers, I would not recommend this unit to others
