A hidden gem by the ocean

We had a pleasure to stay at Julie's family home. The property is a piece of history of Fort Lauderdale, built in 1948 by her family. The Neighbourhood is very special: steps away from the beach & all Neighbors been there for generations. The house has all the beach gear. It's tastefully decorated & has most things one would need. Julie was super responsive when something was missing / needed replacement. The back patio / garden - a total plus. The house next door has a wall water feature that provides for a nice sound scape:) The beautiful tree &plants in the garden are amazing to look at. there were extra layers for the days when we had to turn on heat. important to remember that this is not an Airbnb business type of property. It is a family home with history and some quirks. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. Grocery stores are a short walk away. Beach is Wonderful - no shade in the afternoon from the tall buildings, never too many people. Great stay!
